The Salvo Precision MCX CSAW 10.5" in classic black from Double Eagle is a GBBR-type gas-powered airsoft rifle based on the Tokyo Marui MWS platform. The narrow 10.5-inch foregrip, short bolt travel, and minimalist folding stock create a compact assembly suitable for both CQB and open-field combat.

The rifle is based on a modern GBB system inspired by the Tokyo Marui MWS ZET design. Double Eagle has incorporated a number of reinforced steel components into the internal mechanism while maintaining high compatibility with aftermarket parts for the MWS. The rifle thus offers extensive options for further tuning and customization to suit the player’s needs. One of the design’s main advantages is the short bolt stroke. The compact bolt moves along a guided path, and thanks to a specially designed system of springs and rollers, it enables a fast and smooth cycle. The shorter bolt movement also allows for a very compact rear section of the rifle and contributes to quick handling.

The front section features a narrow 10.5" foregrip with an M-LOK interface, which allows for the installation of a wide range of accessories. The upper section consists of a continuous Picatinny rail suitable for mounting a Red Dot sight or riflescope. The foregrip is CNC-machined and, thanks to its compact dimensions, provides excellent handling of the entire rifle. The rifle is also equipped with a practical front QD sling swivel. A three-prong quick-detach flash hider is located at the muzzle, allowing for quick installation of a compatible suppressor. Once removed, other muzzle devices with a 14 mm CCW (counter-clockwise) thread or a compatible tracer unit can also be used.

Great emphasis was placed on ergonomics and handling. The fire selector, magazine release, and charging handle are designed for ambidextrous use, allowing the rifle to be operated comfortably with either the right or left hand. The bolt catch remains standard on the left side. The extended magazine well facilitates quick magazine changes, and the rear of the receiver is equipped with a QD sling mount. The rifle features a minimalist folding stock in the MCX Minimalist style. The stock is equipped with a rubberized buttplate, which increases shooting comfort and helps dampen recoil. The design allows the stock to be folded for easier transport or handling in confined spaces. The stock can be folded to the right or left side depending on the setting, and its mechanism also allows for height adjustment.

The hop-up system uses a design compatible with Tokyo Marui MWS. The hop-up system base is firmly attached to the outer barrel, which limits unwanted movement of the hop-up chamber and inner barrel. The result is a more stable barrel mount and a more consistent trajectory. The hop-up is adjusted using a control wheel with distinct feedback at each position, so the setting can be easily checked even during use. The trigger mechanism features steel components to enhance durability and service life. It offers SAFE, SEMI, and AUTO modes, along with a short trigger travel and quick reset. The trigger characteristics are so well-suited for rapid fire and dynamic use.

For the Gen. 2 generation, manufacturer Double Eagle also implemented a number of design modifications aimed at increasing reliability. The modified barrel mounting design helps limit unwanted barrel movement, and the hop-up chamber base has also been redesigned for a more stable connection between the outer barrel and the hop-up system. A spring stop has been added to the rear of the receiver to better absorb the energy of the moving bolt. The gun comes with a 35-round gas magazine in the AR/MWS standard. Thanks to its MWS-based design, a wide range of aftermarket components for this platform can also be used, provided they are compatible. The package also includes a practical long transport case with molded foam padding that protects the rifle from impacts during transport.
