Glock 19 Gen 5 FS MOS, steel CNC slide, Black, GBB, Umarex

Glock 19 Gen 5 FS MOS, steel CNC slide, Black, GBB, Umarex

A gas-powered airsoft gun with a blowback system. A replica of the Glock 19 Gen 5 FS MOS model with a black polymer frame and a CNC-machined steel slide for maximum realism, manufactured by Umarex. The German brand Umarex is currently the official license holder from GLOCK Ges.m.b.H. Thanks to this, these airsoft pistols are highly realistic replicas with authentic external engravings and all other markings.

The G19 is a more compact model based on the basic and most widespread variant of the full-size G17 pistol. Like every GBB pistol, it features, among other things, realistic disassembly, a slide stop, and a functional trigger safety. Thanks to the ambidextrous slide stop and ambidextrous magazine release (which can be rotated), this pistol can be operated equally well by both right- and left-handed shooters. The heavier weight of the entire model and the ingeniously textured surface of the grip contribute to a comfortable and secure grip.

This model stands out primarily for its massive CNC-machined steel slide, which takes the realistic shooting experience to a whole new level. It is precisely the weight, strength, and precise CNC machining of the steel slide that give the replica exceptionally authentic operation and a remarkable shooting experience. However, this is also one of the main reasons why this model is significantly more expensive than standard variants—you simply pay for top-quality materials and premium craftsmanship.

The front serrations (FS) on the slide improve the gun’s handling. The MOS (Modular Optic System) allows for easy mounting of a Red Dot sight on the slide. The adapter plates included with the gun can be used to mount sights such as Docter, Trijicon, C-More, and Leupold.

The 5th-generation polymer frame has had all finger grooves removed and features a widened lower portion of the magazine well for easier magazine insertion. Another minor change on this model is the beveled front of the slide, which helps the gun slide more easily into a holster. The rail in front of the trigger guard allows for easy mounting of tactical accessories

Due to the moving slide, regular user disassembly is required. So, carefully clean the guns and lubricate the sliding surfaces and all O-rings in the valves. Silicone oil and petroleum jelly, which you can find in the accessories section, are best suited for this purpose. This is the only way to ensure proper and reliable reloading function in semi-automatic mode. For the reasons mentioned above, GBB pistols are most commonly used by enthusiastic “military” airsoft units. They have also gained popularity among individuals who want to safely practice handling and shooting with guns, even outside of a shooting range.

The Umarex brand offers Glock Gen5 FS MOS gas-powered airsoft pistols with magazines in two propulsion types: the widely used classic gas (Green Gas, Red Gas) or a variant with a magazine that accommodates a 12g CO2 cartridge. The CO2 version tends to be slightly more powerful due to the propulsion system used (it can also be used at lower temperatures), but it is less stable when firing (greater cooling of the hop-up buckings, less consistent gas delivery). The gas-powered variant is slightly more accurate, and the parts and seals are subjected to less stress. Both variants have their pros and cons, so the final choice is up to each of you!
