This version of the AR15 from the new and highest edition of Cyma Platinum offers a completely redesigned robust body with a unique serial number and improved internal parts that are not offered by conventional guns from other brands. Another interesting feature is the QSC (Quick Spring Change) design, which allows for quick spring replacement without having to disassemble the body or gearbox. Once again, this brand has not disappointed with its workmanship, thus maintaining its popularity among the wider airsoft community.

As the name suggests, this modern adaptation of the AR15 is equipped with a metal URX4 M-Lok foregrip (13 inches), which is much thinner and therefore guarantees a great grip. The lightweight yet very sturdy M-Lok system allows for the installation of any tactical accessories or the individual movement of purchased RIS rails for attaching additional accessories.

The gun also has a telescopic Magpul stock. This offers 6 length adjustment positions and easily accessible internal space for storing the recommended battery. The 14.5-inch metal outer barrel is finished with a 14 mm counter-clockwise thread, which is hidden under a trident muzzle compensator at the muzzle itself.

The upper and longest RIS rail is equipped with a pair of folding and fully adjustable KAC sights. Even so, it offers easy mounting of a Red Dot sight or a magnifying riflescope. The Magpul PTS MOE stock fits precisely onto the enlarged trigger guard, which is an integral part of the lower body. A double-sided steel sling swivel between the body and the stock tube or QD holes on the stock and foregrip are used to attach the sling. The gun comes from the latest edition, which has a newly designed metal body with a functional ejection port, bolt catch button, and bolt handle.

The metal reinforced QSC gearbox contains high-quality steel gears (fast 13:1 ratio manufactured on a CNC machine), a polycarbonate piston with metal teeth on the rack, precision 8 mm ball bearings, an M125-level spring, a very powerful motor with neodymium magnets, a specific metal spring guide with a bearing, an aluminum CNC cylinder head (2 sealing O-rings), and a silent piston head with a bearing.

The modified gearbox also includes a modern control unit (ETU) with integrated MOS FET, which is used to switch the guns electronically. This solution ensures a short trigger travel and a very fast response of the entire assembly after the microswitch is activated. The basic model also features a one-piece ProWin-style metal hop-up chamber and a precision barrel with an internal diameter of 6.03 mm without additional surface treatments. The package includes a plastic barrel cleaning rod and a double-stack PMAG push-button magazine with a capacity of 160 BBs (Midcap).

What is Cyma Platinum Edition?

Forget the old manufacturer's designations such as Blue Edition, High Speed Edition, Limited Edition, etc. The manufacturer has completely switched to a new and more logical division into three product lines: Sport, Standard, and Platinum.

Cyma Platinum Edition has undergone significant improvements since 2025 compared to previous series. The bodies and external parts are now made from the best materials. Many parts are machined on precision CNC machines. Ordinary ABS plastics have been replaced with a nylon polymer mixed with fiberglass to increase durability. The internal parts feature the best that the current world of airsoft has to offer, such as new hop-up buckings, modified metal chambers, precise 6.03 mm barrels, new reinforced QSC gearboxes, heavy-duty internal CNC parts, top-of-the-line air technology in guns, and very often electronic switching (ETU).

Cyma Platinum Edition is the highest product line of airsoft guns, aimed primarily at players who demand the best in a gun. Simply put, the best materials used provide the best performance, stability, rate of fire, accuracy, and durability. Robust and modern replica guns (AEG) represent a higher initial investment, but they pay off in the long run. Guns in this edition do not come with batteries or chargers, so these must be purchased separately.
