A modern take on the legendary AK platform by Tokyo Marui. The AKX GBBR model features an original design, top-notch craftsmanship, and significantly modernized ergonomics that take the classic AK platform to a new level. Thanks to its high expandability, compact dimensions, and realistic gas blowback system, it offers a great experience for both realism enthusiasts and active airsoft players.

The highlight of the gun is the new blowback mechanism with a large 19mm piston, which creates a strong and pronounced recoil with every shot. The realistic bolt operation faithfully simulates the functions of the real firearm—including cocking the first round with the cocking lever or the bolt catching after the magazine is empty. The AKX is equipped with a shortened 8.7" barrel and an original aluminum three-chamber muzzle brake. Once removed, the standard 14mm CCW thread can be used to mount a suppressor or other muzzle accessories. The receiver, slide cover, outer barrel, and foregrip are made of aluminum alloy. The side-folding stock and grip are made of nylon-reinforced polymer.

The modern M-LOK foregrip, machined from aluminum, provides high strength while maintaining a low profile for a comfortable grip. The package includes three 20mm Picatinny rails of various lengths (3, 5, and 7 slots), which can be easily installed using the included Allen wrench. The upper receiver of the gun features an integrated 20mm Picatinny rail extending from the foregrip to the bolt cover, ideal for mounting a Red Dot sight or scope. The newly developed bolt cover retention system eliminates play and ensures stable aiming even during dynamic shooting. It also features folding mechanical sights, an adjustable front sight, and a modern folding stock with a lightweight skeletonized design. The stock is mounted via a 20mm Picatinny rail and features a QD slot for a quick-detach sling.

The package includes a realistic aluminum gas magazine in a Bakelite-style design with a capacity of 35 BBs. Also included are M-LOK rails (S/M/L), a protective cap, a tool for adjusting the front sights, an instruction manual, an Allen wrench, a magazine, a loading rod, a cleaning rod, and BBs.
