The legendary Soviet design in a highly realistic rendition from Tokyo Marui. The AKM GBBR model combines the iconic look of the famous AK assault rifle with a modern gas blowback system, powerful recoil, and exceptionally authentic handling.

The history of the AK platform dates back to the AK-47, which was adopted by the Soviet Army in 1949. Thanks to its simplicity, extreme reliability, and durability, it became the most widely used assault rifle in the world. The AKM variant was a modernized version of the original design, and it is this model that has now been reimagined as a realistic airsoft gas-powered rifle.

Tokyo Marui has paid the utmost attention to detail. The surface of the foregrip and stock faithfully imitates wood using a special finish, while details such as the Bakelite pistol grip, steel bolt cover, and the texture of the bolt housing were created based on the real-world model. The receiver, barrel, sights, and other parts are made of aluminum alloy. At the heart of the gun is a new AK blowback mechanism with a large 19mm piston, which provides exceptionally strong recoil and an authentic shooting experience. Realistic operation includes cocking the first round using the cocking lever and the bolt catch engaging after the magazine is empty. Additionally, the gun can be disassembled just like the real thing.

The AKM features adjustable mechanical sights—the front sight can be adjusted horizontally and vertically using a special tool, while the rear sight allows for elevation adjustment by changing the position of the slide. After removing the standard muzzle brake, a 14mm CCW thread is available for mounting a suppressor or other muzzle accessories.

The package includes a realistic aluminum gas magazine with a capacity of 35 BBs, made from a single piece of die-cast aluminum. Also included are a protective cap, a tool for adjusting the front sights, an instruction manual, a charger, a loading rod, a cleaning rod, and BBs.
